DRAKE JOSEPH RODMAN

Joseph Rodam Drake (1795-1820)
Poet, born in New York, took his classes in medicine and died of consumption when he was only 25.
He, along with F. Halleck contributed to the Croaker Papers, and wrote “The Culprit Fay” and “The American Flag.”
