THE HUMAN TOUCH Out of the darkness Into the light Candles are glowing Brightness takes flight. I stretch to the stars There's heaven up there I fly like a comet Even though it's so rare. My hands reach upward Then slowly descend Like the wings of an eagle They don't break or blend. For I am a human And my hand extends out Another hand holds mine And there isn't a doubt.
